Make your special day unforgettable and leave your guests amazed by hiring me to artistically capture your ceremony, providing you with a cherished memento.
The Process
To ensure a stunning masterpiece, I'll arrive at the venue two hours in advance to begin painting the scenic backdrop. By the conclusion of the ceremony, a significant portion of the artwork will be completed, capturing your special moment with artistic finesse.
Afterwards, I'll take the painting to my art studio to add the final touches. Within three weeks, the finished masterpiece will be mailed/deliver back to you. In certain cases where the ceremony length and level of detail allow, the painting may even be finished during the event itself. If that happens, you can proudly display it at the reception or take it home with you on the very same night.
Deposit
To secure your reservation, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking. The remaining balance must be settled one week prior to your wedding date. It's important to note that failure to make the final payment within this timeframe will result in the cancellation of your booking, leading to the forfeiture of your deposit. Please be aware that all bookings are considered final.
Travel Fees
1️⃣ Travel fees of $0.75 per mile will be applied to weddings located over 40 miles away from Dalton, GA.
2️⃣ For weddings that are over 3 hours away each way, hotel accommodations must be provided to ensure a smooth and timely service.
3️⃣ For weddings located even farther away that require air travel, please contact me directly. We can discuss the details and make appropriate arrangements for travel fees.

Mayelli creates live illustrations using watercolor paints in her signature loose and sketchy style. These illustrations are done on cold pressed water color paper and always flatter the guests.
On average, Mayelli can paint 8 to 10 single people or 4 to 5 couples per hour. Taking into account transition time for guest and artist in between each painting.

Mayelli sets up at your drinks reception and requires a table and chair from the venue. Guests don't have to stand in front of her while she paints. Instead, they pose for a photo, which she uses as a reference while they continue enjoying the reception.
During the drinks reception (usually 2 hours), Mayelli takes photos, interacts with guests, and starts painting. Once guests are called for the wedding breakfast, she focuses on completing as many paintings as possible within the chosen package.
Each illustration is packed in a protective sleeve with a hard backing board for display. They are arranged on a table, creating a charming pop-up gallery that guests can explore after the meal.
Mayelli's quick illustrations are painted in her signature stylized and whimsical way, which flatters and compliments guests. She captures the key details of outfits and hairstyles, delighting guests when they instantly recognize themselves and others in the pop-up gallery.
